In compliance with the restrictions placed on non-essential businesses and the quarantine conditions, QCS will not be keeping open office hours at the QCS campus until further notice. Our staff and faculty have worked hard in the last week to transition education to an online delivery platform. With the issuing of Chromebooks to each family, we believe the tools are in place to see success. What does this mean for your students? We are able to provide continuity in education at this time that many schools are not equipped to provide.
Dr. Bishop, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, will be explaining (through a Blog) what this form of education will look like and how it will operate. Given the restrictions laid down by PA Governor Thomas Wolf, we are exploring a variety of options for content delivery and instruction.
Pending a significant improvement to this unprecedented event, we are realistically looking at the end of April or early May as the most optimistic forecast of a return to school as we all have known it. We also need to be prepared for the real possibility that the rest of the current school year may consist of primarily online curriculum and instruction. Regardless of whether it happens through on-campus or through distance learning, QCS remains committed to equipping students to be leaders through an exceptional education within a culture emphasizing Christ-like love, peacemaking, and service.
