Dear Friends of QCS
Warmest Christmas greetings to you from all of us at Quakertown Christian School!
The shorter days and chilly nights indicate the season of thanks and giving is upon us. As you plan your year-end donations, we prayerfully ask for your consideration in giving forward to make a difference in the lives of others, or giving back in gratefulness for those who poured into our own lives. Life is built on experiences – each shapes what we think and who we become.
During our Fall Homecoming, we honored the life of Ruth Keeler Longacre – former QCS teacher, Board member, and now a legacy supporter of QCS through her Longacre Academic Center endowment. Ruth was passionate in her desire to see children succeed in the academic arena. Her giving forward is now helping our students achieve academic success. A QCS parent writes, “I am so thankful for our learning center staff who go above and beyond to find innovative and creative ways to enhance my children’s learning experience. They look forward to their time in the Longacre Academic Center.”
Along with the forward thinking of Ruth, many alumni are choosing to give back. A first-time alumni donor shares this, “QCS prepared me to own my faith. Having been challenged recently about God’s existence, I recalled scripture learned in elementary school. I am grateful for that foundation.” We hear these sentiments echoed regularly when meeting with alumni and families who are giving today to grow tomorrow.
With your financial gift, we can continue the QCS mission of providing any family who values Christian education an opportunity to attend QCS. Your gift is tax deductible and through our Tuition Assistance Program, all students are allowed an equal opportunity for experiences and success. This school year, QCS has provided tuition assistance to over half of our students. In addition, 24 percent receive pastoral and sibling discounts. Whether giving forward or giving back, would you please give today to QCS so that we may continue to grow tomorrow?
Thank you for all of your support of QCS – your partnership in prayer and giving is a daily encouragement and vital for this ministry. We give God the glory for the great things He has done and continues to do through QCS. May your Christmas season be joyful with a New Year full of hope!
